Following its launch last month, GCG's online offering to management and technology consulting firms and corporations seeking high quality domain expertise through vetted expert resources, is shaking up the recruitment marketplace.

Interest levels from independents seeking to market their services through professional associates . com has created a backlog of outstanding individuals to be screened, although several additional screening sessions have been planned to cope with the groundswell of interest. This activity will see the total number of listed expert resources reach 300 by the end of August and 500 at September end.

Such has been the interest from organisations in taking advantage of the "free trial" option (which allows individuals in the company to navigate through, and view the complete universe of available expert resources before purchasing a licence) that GCG has decided to extend this opportunity until the end of the year, allowing the unique system to be further refined through feedback from participating organisations who have also welcomed the approach as an ideal way to roll out the new model for recruiting independents across their organisations before bidding for high quality individuals and securing their services. In addition to strong interest from most of the major professional services firms professional associates . com has also received interest from one of the UK's largest supermarket chains.
